In April 2017, the Yang-Tan Institute co-sponsored a Makeathon/Hackathon that welcomed more than 180 makers, hackers, designers, engineering and builders. Many of these were Cornell students. The participants were challenged to create affordable assistive technology for people with disabilities and spent 3 days developing hardware and software prototypes.
This video was created by Insights International, Inc., Ann Michel and Philip Wilde, under a grant from the Cornell University Office of engagement Initiatives; grant application submitted by David Brewer, YTI, and Ami Stuart, Entrepreneurship@Cornell.
