Makeathon for Assistive Technologies
Overview
In April 2017, the Yang-Tan Institute co-sponsored a Makeathon/Hackathon that welcomed more than 180 makers, hackers, designers, engineers, and builders. Many of these were Cornell students. The participants were challenged to create affordable assistive technology for people with disabilities and spent 3 days developing hardware and software prototypes.
